Timefold takes an AI-assisted approach to creating optimization APIs. Users can describe requirements, constraints, and objectives, which can then be translated into a custom optimization API.

Its product is therefore more centered around API-based optimization use cases, particularly scheduling, routing, and planning.

Harumi

Harumi makes AI native across the OR development lifecycle.

Teams can use AI to turn operational requirements and constraints into working optimization software, modify models and interfaces with prompts, capture business rules and exceptions from operational discussions, and explain recommendations to business users.

The same platform provides data connections, Git-based versioning, branches and reviews, cloud execution, logs, dashboards, and deployment infrastructure.
